Half way there!!

A ton has happened this month, so I thought I should just post a ton of pictures.

I got to meet my cute little cousin Anthony for the first time. Most of my entire Thanksgiving break was spent holding this cute little guy. Spending time with the Valverde's and Barnes' for Thanksgiving was a great choice. It was fun to spend time with them and I enjoyed the break from school!

I love to sale shop. Nothing makes me  happier than finding a good deal on something. Well, these shoes are result of my sale shopping skills. Originally $89 I got these puppies for $24. I am in total love with them. They are sooo comfy! I wear them all the time :)

CUPCAKES CUPCAKES CUPCAKES. At my apartment complex each week the cleaning lady gives a prize to the cleanest apartment. Somehow we had the cleanest apartment....NOT. We just sweat talked the cleaning lady into letting us win. Now if only Maddie and I could do this to men ;) just kidding. We are happy living the single life.

Your night and shining armor. This was randomly outside the Bookstore in the Manwaring Center. Not really sure why, but Maddie and decided to take full advantage of this prop!

Typical Saturday Morning in Apartment 613. We were sick of doing homework, so we decided to have a dance party :) It ended being a game of "hot lava" while dancing around. We felt like little kids, but it was a great way to get our minds off of finals!

I have been raising rabbits all semester in hope to solve protein deficiencies in developing nations. I took the research that I found and entered into Brigham Young University-Idaho's Research and Creative Works Conference. It was a very valuable experience. Although, I did not win I got a cute name tag and a certificate.

Well folks, here you have it, I am choppin' off a rabbits head. (For all of you animal rights people this was done in accordance to Idaho's animal safety regulations) The first rabbit that I "harvested" was way nauseating, but after that I got into, okay I need to learn how to actually do this mode. Hopefully I will be able to teach the people how to raise rabbits when I head down to Paraguay in about a week and a half.

Of course. I had to learn how to cook the rabbit. This my crock pot rabbit! It was actually pretty delicious :) It tasted a lot like chicken.

Kirsten Moffat and I suffered through Wilderness First Aid together all semester. We thought it was going to be a cool class where we would really learn how to save people and survive in the wilderness. Well, we pretty much learned nothing at all. For our last class of the semester we had to go out into the wilderness and save people. I am pretty sure Kirsten and I were the only ones that knew what we were doing, because we have both taken Advanced First Aid previously. It was pretty much a miserable experience as you can tell from the before and after pic. It snowed the entire time....

Here come the Bride! We threw Kendl a bridal shower. Maddie made these cute underwear cookies!! They were a hit :) Along with these cute panties Kendl got plenty of real cute panties to wear on her honeymoon ;)

An attempt to take a roommate picture at Kendl's bridal shower didn't exactly work. I kind of like the pic though

Jessica and I on the last Sunday of the semester :(

Here are all of my roommates :) We survived the semester without one of us killing each other!!! AHH YEAH! Jessica, Me, Maddie, Hanna, Kirsten and Kendl

I HATE CLEAN CHECKS!!! They are sooo stressful. Everyone is trying to pack everything, which makes our apartment even more dirty. People pack their stuff at different times which makes it incredibly difficult to do your own part of clean checks. I think our apartment won the award for the most amount of trash. Here there are only six bags of trash outside our front door. By the end of the day Friday there were over 14 bags. I still don't understand how apartment had this much trash? For the most part our apartment was super clean all semester.

DUN DUN DA DA!!! Here are my final grades :) I am officially half way done with college!!!!! I some how miraculously got a B in Anatomy and Physiology. I couldn't be more proud!!!! I am little irritated with my grade in Community Health. I tried super hard in that class. I ended up with an 89.24%, so I sent an email to my teacher asking her to bump up my grade. Below is the response that I got from her. I thought it was quite rude considering she sent it on Christmas Eve.

"I am sorry, I already offered extra credit in the course, and your grade is not close enough to earn an A-.  In the future, if you have a request like this for a professor, it would look a lot better if you made a request with an offer to perform extra work, not just asking for a free ride.  It is not fair to the other students in the course just to bump your grade up."

Fudge, Fudge call the judge haha Every year since I can remember I have addressed our families Christmas cards and wrapped all the fudge that we give out. I spent the first few night after I got home wrapping endless containers of fudge.

CHRISTMAS IN CALIFORNIA!!!! Tuck man shooting his new basketball. This kid knows more about basketball than anyone else I know. He is always looking up stats and watching almost every game. He is beating most of Uncle Jim's friends in his fantasy basketball game online.

Jack and I rocking our Christmas spirit!

The new thing is to wear ugly sweaters. I pulled mine out of mom's closet!! Alex's is cute...don't worry

On Christmas Eve I went over to the Emeis' ranch in Temecula. We played apples to apples. The green cards that you end up with are supposed to describe you.. Not really sure about these ones for me?

SIERRA AND I!! I am glad I have a best friend that is always there for me.

Look at these CUTIES!!!! Jack and Tucker are rockin' their new Christmas presents

When life gives you lemons make...LeMoNaDe

Well.... Aaron decided that we weren't meant to be together. After six  weeks of dating he was prompted that we should stop dating. These last two weeks have been ridiculously hard. I am grateful that he  listened to the spirit. These are some super funny posts that Grandpa put on Facebook because I guess he felt bad for me. How funny are these? haha

It is almost TURKEY day!!!! I am on my way to Christie and Marco's house in Tri-Cities, Washington. I am  at Ashley Burt's house right now and in the morning I am driving with the Barnes' up to the Valverde's.

Today Ashley and I went shopping: SO FUN!!!

Fall into October :)

FALL IS HERE!

For FHE we went to Kirsten's pumpkin patch. I got a pumpkin for $1.79. What a deal right? I love to bargain shop. It is probably one of my favorite things to do!

Hello SALT LAKE!!!! For General Conference Aaron Favreau and I went down to Utah. It was such a great weekend. We walked around temple square and hung out with friends. Randomly on Saturday we ran into my sister Alex and Bishop Pulsipher. He took us out to California Pizza Kitchen. We felt way spoiled!

Do you see how close we are?! We went to the Sunday afternoon session! We had tickets for up on the balcony, and randomly this guy came up to us and asked us if he could trade us tickets. We said sure since nothing could get worse than the seats that we had. Well, it turns out he traded us floor tickets 10 rows from the prophet! It was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

Yep! I am raising these guys! It is pretty gross. This one just gave birth to eight little guys. Look at the picture below. They are probably the ugliest things I have ever seen.

These guys will be slaughtered next week :( Say goodbye....

On the way home from feeding these little ones I was caught speeding. My first ticket ever. I was going 15 miles over the speed limit. Goodbye $90 :(  SUCK!

MY WORST NIGHTMARE

I officially hate Anatomy and Physiology.....

Everyday we have day we have a clicker-quiz. They suck. No matter how much or long you study you can never get 100%.

These are the types of slides that I study!  To me this one kind of looks like an Arial view of thousands of people in different swimming pools.

If you know me I am the worst at memorizing things. So having to memorize words like: Non-Keratinzed Stratified Squamous Epithelium Connective Tissue, Concentric Lamella and Dense Fibrous Connective Tissue Regularly Arranged has been quite the difficult task.

Today I took my first lab exam. Sadly, I only got an 86% on it :/ For as much as I studied I thought for sure I was going to get an A.

Know I am on to learn about the skull.....

I know have to memorize words like:
- Sagittal Suture
- Anterior Depression
- Zygomatic Bone

HOPEFULLY I CAN MAKE IT THROUGH!!!!

Because of this class, my second home is on the second floor of the library. Thankfully I have Aaron to study with ;)

I SCREAM! You scream. We all scream for Ice Cream

Well, here I am back in Rexburg.

My roommates and I decided to have a little Ice Cream party the Sunday before school started! What a great idea! We literally had 200 people come through our apartment. It was such a great way to meet everyone in our ward, and some how we had the perfect amount of ice cream. This was the flyer that we passed out to everyone. I know... it is a little cheesy, but hey! It totally brought the people in!

My classes are definitely kicking my butt. Here is a just a little bit about each one:

Community Health: David Dominguez and Ashley Burt are in this class with me. The class is a joke and all we do is laugh and sleep! I am so happy I have some friends to survive that class with me.
Anatomy and Physiology: Just kill me know! Just thinking about this class gives me nightmares. I study about 15 a week for this class. I better get an A :)
International Health: I am raising rabbits in this class to see if it is more cost effective to raise rabbits verses cows. Twice a week I have to go out and feed them. The first day of school my teacher made us rabbit breakfast burritos so we wouldn't get attached to them. I am planning on taking some pictures next time I am out at the farm.
Wilderness First Aid: What a joke!!!! Kirsten and I are considering never showing up again. If we never show up I think we will still get an A.
Doctrine and Covenants: I love this class. It is online class. I can go at my own pace. I am falling in love with the D & C. I honestly wish I would have read it earlier.

The roommates are awesome! I am living with Jessica Conklin, Kendl Crocket, Kirsten Moffat, Hanna Bowen and Maddie Allred. Surprisingly everyone is super clean! I love it :)

rExBuRG is coming is comin' quick..

Many of you may already know, but my car's back axle is bent which has caused my back tires to go completely bald in about 9 months!!! In case any one was wondering.. THAT IS RIDICULOUSLY FAST. About a month or two ago I took it to the Les Schwab tire where the guy tested my alignment. That is when I heard the news...You are going to have to replace the back axle or buy new tires every few months. I decided that in the long run it will probably be best to just replace the axle.

So...thanks to Kendl for taking my car to the shop my car is at the shop getting a new back axle!!! In about a week I will be back to good ole' Rexburg to pick my baby up!!!!! Sadly this repair will cost me about nine hundred and twenty seven dollars....SUCK!!!!!!!

I will be back in Rexburg exactly 6 days! I am having mixed feelings about going back.

cOnS.....
1. I will be taking 17 credits
2. I will be taking Anatomy & Physiology (only the hardest class ever and then most terrifying!!!)
3. I will have to swipe my credit card for $927 (thanks to my car)
4. It is going to get real cold....I mean real cold.
5. I will have to make the choice whether to stay at BYUI in the winter or not.

pRoS.....
1. I get to see all of my sexy, smokin hot roomies and friends.
2. I get to go bridge jumping. Pretty much my addiction.
3. I will not have to worry about my cars' tire blowing up while I drive because it is so bald.
4. I will actually have a social life.
5. Maybe I'll meet a hottie ;)
6. I worked out a dinner group where I only have to cook once every two weeks.
7. Jessica Conklin and I will be room roommates!!! holla!

HAPPY FRIDAY~~~~
And in case anyone is wondering I have been at work for the past 11 hours. I wonder when I can finally go home.....

boob knives

Okay... so recently I went to this Young Single Adult Conference and it was honestly pretty terrible.

Here are some of the awkward moments that occurred in about a three hour spand:

1: LUNCH TIME: I was starving and so excited to eat. The first thing we received a baked potato. Because it was wrapped in foil I had to "unfoil" it and cut it down the center so I could stuff it full of all of the yummy toppings. Well, as I went to cut into the potato I quickly realized that the silver wear that they gave me was probably the cheapest stuff on the market. The knife was so weak it couldn't even begin to cut my potato. Well, I was starting to hold up the line by trying to slowly but surely saw away at my potato. Suddenly, this obese women came over to me and started digging in her breasts. She then pulled a ghetto knife right out of her boobs. She then started cutting into MY potato...now I understand that she was trying to help, but honestly would you eat your potato after a SWEATY and OBESE women was cut through your potato with a knife that she had juts pulled out of her BREAST? Needless to say... I threw it away and starved for the rest of the day.

2: FIRESIDE TIME: A fireside from Elder Ballard was just about to starts. When suddenly I really weird kid plopped himself right down next to me. The first thing he said to me was... "Do you have a number?" I decided to be nice, so I said "Yes". He then tried to make small talk with me. Somehow he ended up going on a rampage about how much he hates BYUI. Now any smart guy would not dis the school the girl was going to while trying to pick her up. For the entire talk the kid started me down. HORRIBLY AWKWARD.  When I got home that night he texted me begging me to go on a date with him. Sadly, I denied him....

from the desk of kelly morrison $$$$$$

AHHH!!! I have been working hours upon hours upon hours! I get up at 5:30 every morning, leave by 6:30 and am to work at about 7:00am. I spend a full day doing to following...

7:00-9:00 Billing, Invoicing and Filing

9:00-12:00 Update Part Numbers and do special projects for people

12:00-1:00 LUNCH! Usually consists of eating a BRC burrito from El Pollo Loco (a.k.a. heaven on earth. If you want to make my day. Buy me one. Make sure to get some Pico De Gallo salsa on the side) and spending a long hour on Facebook. I think I have stalked every one of my friends, and every one of my friends friends. Ooopss.

1:00-2:00 Parts Training- And I thought that I got away from giving out tests for six weeks...NOT! I am in charge of testing people on their knowledge of the parts that we sell. Crazy stuff right here. I am also in charge of organizing what happens during parts training. I do feel pretty cool doing that :) I feel like super official. Nothin' better than a little power!!!

2:00-4:00 SHIPPING!!!! I send out shipments :) Probably the best part of the day. LOVE.LOVE.LOVE. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll marry a UPS man :)

Well, that's my day for ya......Usually insanely boring (like so bad I often fall asleep....but if you know me pretty well you know that the minute i get even slightly bored I fall asleep....thanks to my roommates last semester I have several pictures of me sleeping in random places on Facebook)

And in case anyone is wondering. I do have my own e-mail.... kelly@usairfiltration.com
And in case anyone is wondering. I do have my own extension.... 951-491-7287 ext. 143

HIT ME UP!!!! haha (i'm bored, but at least I am making some mula)

Can't wait to go back up to school :)

Oh...and here is a picture of my rockin' cubical:

just realized I left a plum on my desk... whoops :)

diets start on the worst days...

Okay, so I gained a lot of weight while I was up at school, so I have decided to start Weight Watchers....Yesterday, I ate horribly so I could eat all the stuff I have wanted to eat before my little diet started. Well, of course today I am starving and my boss walks in with 439 dollars worth of See's Candies and asks me to organize it in our office. Then he throws in this comment, "Eat as much as you would like" KILL ME NOW!!!! SEE'S CANDIES IS ONLY THE BEST CHOCOLATE ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH. It was literally torture. I am aloud to eat 26 points of food a day. One piece of See's Candies is 2 points. I don't think that it is worth it. Because if I eat one, I am going to have to eat 2 then 3 then 4 and my diet would be pointless. Wish me luck..... I really like this quote. NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS SKINNY FEELS.

I'm goin' home!!!!!

I am leaving for good ole' MURRIETA, CA ...well, almost. I am going to a family reunion in Fallbrook. I will be digging my feet into the warm California sand in less than 40 hours! I will be starting work on Monday at U.S. Air Filtration. A seven week break will be interesting. I wonder what car I will drive? I wonder where I will sleep at home (I don't really have a bed any more)?

AT LEAST I AM GOING HOME!!!! YAY!!!!!

p.s. I hate clean checks.
p.s.s. I think I have all A's !!!

tire to the dress

My poor car is broken...So one day I looked at my tires and I noticed that they are completely smooth, like soft as a babies bottom. I freaked out because I had just replaced them like less than a year ago... so....I took it to the tire place and they told me that the back axle is completely bent and my back tires are just dragging along. sad day, so in order to fix it I have to pay about $1000. So, for the past two weeks I have been driving around Rexburg just waiting for my tire to pop....IT SUCKS. I can't decide if I want to pay the $1000 or just by a new car....we will see what happens.
I got to take my dear roommate CASEY BEATTY wedding dress shopping. I think this will be the dress. Well, maybe.

JuLy...

We had some extra times, so Camilla, Hanna and I tied Joe up with some yarn!
