A ton has happened this month, so I thought I should just post a ton of pictures.
I got to meet my cute little cousin Anthony for the first time. Most of my entire Thanksgiving break was spent holding this cute little guy. Spending time with the Valverde's and Barnes' for Thanksgiving was a great choice. It was fun to spend time with them and I enjoyed the break from school!
I love to sale shop. Nothing makes me happier than finding a good deal on something. Well, these shoes are result of my sale shopping skills. Originally $89 I got these puppies for $24. I am in total love with them. They are sooo comfy! I wear them all the time :)
CUPCAKES CUPCAKES CUPCAKES. At my apartment complex each week the cleaning lady gives a prize to the cleanest apartment. Somehow we had the cleanest apartment....NOT. We just sweat talked the cleaning lady into letting us win. Now if only Maddie and I could do this to men ;) just kidding. We are happy living the single life.
Your night and shining armor. This was randomly outside the Bookstore in the Manwaring Center. Not really sure why, but Maddie and decided to take full advantage of this prop!
Typical Saturday Morning in Apartment 613. We were sick of doing homework, so we decided to have a dance party :) It ended being a game of "hot lava" while dancing around. We felt like little kids, but it was a great way to get our minds off of finals!
I have been raising rabbits all semester in hope to solve protein deficiencies in developing nations. I took the research that I found and entered into Brigham Young University-Idaho's Research and Creative Works Conference. It was a very valuable experience. Although, I did not win I got a cute name tag and a certificate.
Well folks, here you have it, I am choppin' off a rabbits head. (For all of you animal rights people this was done in accordance to Idaho's animal safety regulations) The first rabbit that I "harvested" was way nauseating, but after that I got into, okay I need to learn how to actually do this mode. Hopefully I will be able to teach the people how to raise rabbits when I head down to Paraguay in about a week and a half.
Of course. I had to learn how to cook the rabbit. This my crock pot rabbit! It was actually pretty delicious :) It tasted a lot like chicken.
Kirsten Moffat and I suffered through Wilderness First Aid together all semester. We thought it was going to be a cool class where we would really learn how to save people and survive in the wilderness. Well, we pretty much learned nothing at all. For our last class of the semester we had to go out into the wilderness and save people. I am pretty sure Kirsten and I were the only ones that knew what we were doing, because we have both taken Advanced First Aid previously. It was pretty much a miserable experience as you can tell from the before and after pic. It snowed the entire time....
Here come the Bride! We threw Kendl a bridal shower. Maddie made these cute underwear cookies!! They were a hit :) Along with these cute panties Kendl got plenty of real cute panties to wear on her honeymoon ;)
An attempt to take a roommate picture at Kendl's bridal shower didn't exactly work. I kind of like the pic though
Jessica and I on the last Sunday of the semester :(
Here are all of my roommates :) We survived the semester without one of us killing each other!!! AHH YEAH! Jessica, Me, Maddie, Hanna, Kirsten and Kendl
I HATE CLEAN CHECKS!!! They are sooo stressful. Everyone is trying to pack everything, which makes our apartment even more dirty. People pack their stuff at different times which makes it incredibly difficult to do your own part of clean checks. I think our apartment won the award for the most amount of trash. Here there are only six bags of trash outside our front door. By the end of the day Friday there were over 14 bags. I still don't understand how apartment had this much trash? For the most part our apartment was super clean all semester.
DUN DUN DA DA!!! Here are my final grades :) I am officially half way done with college!!!!! I some how miraculously got a B in Anatomy and Physiology. I couldn't be more proud!!!! I am little irritated with my grade in Community Health. I tried super hard in that class. I ended up with an 89.24%, so I sent an email to my teacher asking her to bump up my grade. Below is the response that I got from her. I thought it was quite rude considering she sent it on Christmas Eve.
"I am sorry, I already offered extra credit in the course, and your grade is not close enough to earn an A-. In the future, if you have a request like this for a professor, it would look a lot better if you made a request with an offer to perform extra work, not just asking for a free ride. It is not fair to the other students in the course just to bump your grade up."
Fudge, Fudge call the judge haha Every year since I can remember I have addressed our families Christmas cards and wrapped all the fudge that we give out. I spent the first few night after I got home wrapping endless containers of fudge.
CHRISTMAS IN CALIFORNIA!!!! Tuck man shooting his new basketball. This kid knows more about basketball than anyone else I know. He is always looking up stats and watching almost every game. He is beating most of Uncle Jim's friends in his fantasy basketball game online.
Jack and I rocking our Christmas spirit!
The new thing is to wear ugly sweaters. I pulled mine out of mom's closet!! Alex's is cute...don't worry
On Christmas Eve I went over to the Emeis' ranch in Temecula. We played apples to apples. The green cards that you end up with are supposed to describe you.. Not really sure about these ones for me?
SIERRA AND I!! I am glad I have a best friend that is always there for me.
Look at these CUTIES!!!! Jack and Tucker are rockin' their new Christmas presents
